The most recent information on the Bach website is that 420000 is from 1994. Trumpets made in 1926 started with the serial 500 and reached the number 600 in 1927. The lacquer is in great shape and the horn looks wonderfully. For example, Bach publishes a list of serial numbers on their website. This trumpet is fully functional and there are no missing parts. A wonderful playing Vintage Selmer "Bundy" by Bach, this horn is a fantastic choice for people looking for a quality instrument at the great price. The TR300 wasn't produced until the mid to late 80's. There are no serial number lists for student models like the Bundy or TR300. The overall lacquer over gold finish on the trumpet is in superb condition with very minor blemishes.
